We are deeply grateful for the generous support we receive year after year from our supporters.  All gifts, whether they be in terms of money, prayer or volunteering are essential to enable the Trust's work to continue.  

 

Regular giving really helps us with budgeting.  One off gifts, particularly larger ones, can be made for specific purposes such as the vessel renewal fund or bursaries, just let us know if you want to designate your gift in this way otherwise your gift will go into the general fund.

You are giving to much more than just sailing 

Bright Star of Revelation, Eastern Star of Revelation and Guiding Star of Revelation are vehicles for transforming lives. They provide an arena for young people to discover themselves spiritually, mentally and physically. Our voyages are designed to increase self-confidence with humility, resilience, leadership skills and self-understanding.  

 

In 2023 we were able to grant £23,596 in bursary funds to 81 young people who would not otherwise have been able to have this amazing life changing experience. The age group we are aiming at has had it hard with the pandemic affecting their education, a massive reduction in youth work provision by cash strapped local authorities and a cost-of-living crisis. We are receiving more applications every year but grant making bodies have less money to distribute so we are looking for more individuals to give one off donations or regular small amounts to help these young people.
