RYA PRACTICAL COURSES

All our RYA practical courses, with the exception of the special Day Skipper and Competent Crew courses for The King's Fleet, start and finish at our base  in Northney Marina, PO11 0NH,  (click here for joining instructions for all our voyages).

For the Day Skipper course whilst candidates are not required to have passed their navigation courses to participate in Day Skipper our experience shows that candidates who have taken time to develop a good knowledge of essential navigation fare better. As a minimum we recommend study of these two books:
